A small skydiving plane overshot the runway at a New Jersey airport on Thursday, leaving all fifteen aboard injured.

Gloucester County emergency management said a “multi-agency mass casualty incident” was declared at Cross Keys Airport in Monroe Township around 5.30pm (local time), after reports of a plane crash, BNO News reported.

A Cessna 208B with 15 people on board was involved in the incident at Cross Keys Airport, a federal aviation Administration spokesperson said. The FAA is investigating the matter.

According to hospital spokesperson Wendy A Marano, the hospital’s EMS and trauma teams responded to the crash site, but she did not have details on the conditions of those hurt.

Someone who answered the phone at Cross Keys Airport on Wednesday said they had no information and directed inquiries to Skydive Cross Keys, the skydiving company based at the airport.
