Elon Musk has said the "top priority" of his newly announced political venture , the America Party , would be to release the Jeffrey Epstein files , which allegedly name Donald Trump , among others.
In a post on his social media platform X, Musk asked, "How can people be expected to have faith in Trump if he won't release the Epstein files?"
A user reacted to his post and asked whether exposing Epstein files ranks high on the priority list of the America Party.
In response, the SpaceX and Tesla CEO shared a "100" emoji.
Epstein, a convicted sex offender, died in a New York prison cell in August 2019 as he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges in another case. Recently, the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) concluded there was no evidence Epstein was murdered.

DOJ and FBI also found no indication that Epstein blackmailed powerful figures or maintained a “client list”.
Musk, the world's richest person and a former Trump aide, previously alleged that the US president's name is on the list.
The estranged allies recently fell out over the Republican leader's ambitious "big, beautiful bill," which the former vehemently opposed.

The fallout between the two deepened after the Republicans passed the major policy bill, prompting Musk to declare his intention to back primary challengers against those in the Republican Party who voted for it. In response, Trump dismissed the billionaire's new party as "ridiculous" and labelled him a "train wreck," criticising the effort as one "doomed to fail" in the US political system.
