Bradley Walsh was seen blasting a player for "wasting our time" on Friday's episode of The Chase (September 5). The former Coronation Street star welcomed players Anne, Lucy, Youssef and Roy as they joined forces to take on chaser Paul "The Sinnerman" Sinha and bag some cash on the ITV gameshow. But after player Lucy was seen booted off after an uninspiring start to the episode, player Roy hoped to up the ante and turn things around for his team.
Despite scoring just £2k in the cash builder round, Paul generously offered him £42k in a bid to raise the stakes. Roy, seemingly tempted, said: "I tell you what, that £42k is pretty tempting..." Brad chimed in, adding: "Oh yeah, not half!" After a momentary pause of reflection, he then said: "There are only three of us, I'll just go for the £2k." A disappointed Bradley threw him a look of disdain before saying, "Oh...ok. You're building everyone's hopes up there. You're wasting our time, quite frankly. £2k it is."

Youssef was the first player to bag a cash prize and make it back to the team after he bagged £4k against quizmaster Paul.
Players were vocal about the episode feeling "underwhelmed" by the players' performance.
But things soon took a surprising turn after Anne took her turn against the chaser. Despite bagging just £4k in her cash builder round. She was offered a staggering £86k as her high offer.
After sharing that she wanted to visit her two children in Australia, Anne said she was "going to go for it" and opted to win the eye-watering amount of cash, despite her only remaining team mate Youssef imploring her to take the £4k and "get back" to help them secure victory in the final chase.
Fans were thrilled at Anne's decision for spicing up the episode.
Good one Anne!," cheered one fan. Another penned: "Fun to go high Fingers crossed for her."

In a shocking twist, Paul fumbled several answers and Anne made it back to Youssef as they played for a tidy £90k cash prize.
Fans were thrilled: "go Ann £90k!" said one viewer. "he questions fell for her but well done, Anne," penned another, while a third gushed: "Ann is brilliant. Went high and trusted her gut."
The team only managed to score 14 in their final chase attempt, as Paul todl them they were "ansering too slow".
Fans had plenty to say: "14! you have more chance of me laying an egg in the next 10 minutes," and "Nope, that £90K is toast today!"
Paul was on top form however, managing to catch the team with 37 seconds left on the clock. Anne and Youssef left empty handed. "well played," he said.
