From dog walks and countryside hikes to field trips, the royals always look stylish and there's one item that Prince William seemingly loves to wear while getting stuck into outdoor engagements.
Prince William was seen sporting a pair of Le Chameau Chasseur Wellington Boots when he visited Dartmoor National Park in June. The French footwear brand is known to be a royal favourite, with Princess Kate also spotted wearing a pair from the brand in the past.
The Le Chameau Chasseur Boots are available in different linings and the brand confirmed that the Prince of Wales was wearing the neoprene lined version, which retails at £330 and comes in two colours - iconic green and black.
If shoppers don't wish to fork out a fortune on wellies, there are other options that don't break a bank, just like theBurford Insulated Rubber Boot from Ariat. Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, rocked the exact pair and these are priced at £165.
Mountain Warehouse's summer sale has slashed the price of Mucker Neoprene Long Boots from £79.99 to £49.99. It features a neoprene upper, dependable gripped outer sole and a cushioned EVA midsole for ultimate comfort.
Back to the Le Chameau pair, they are crafted with a full-length side zip - meaning shoppers can take off the footwear with ease. The waterproof Riri AQUAzip and rubber strap deliver excellent fit and ease of getting on and off.
It's also lined with 3mm of neoprene, which offers wonderful insulation properties, but is not breathable. The lining is complemented by a shock-absorbing, insulating, all-terrain outsole that offers superb arch support.
The Chasseur boots are unisex and are also available in womens sizes between UK2.5 and UK9; while men sizes are available from UK6 to UK15. Shoppers can choose according to their calf size for a better fit.
One shopper said he "highly recommended" the boots and explained: "I had my previous pair for eight years. Went straight to Le Chameau direction. These new boots fit the same, feel the same and let's hope they last the same."
A second commented: "These are my third pair. I can't remember whenever I bought my first pair, but can say I'm getting over ten years wear per pair of boots. Warm and very comfortable. They only took 24 hours to arrive after placing my order."
Some noted that the boots "do come up large in size" and had to size down, while others had issues with their orders as they received wrong pairs.
But many were impressed with the Le Chameau quality, as a shopper mentioned: "Worn practically every day for dog walking in woods. Expensive but worth the money for the comfort. Warm even in coldest temperatures."
