Ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, TV9 Bharatvarsh organized a special program, Satta Sammelan Bihar, on July 11 in Patna. The event brought together several major names from the political and entertainment world. Among them was Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh, who also recently stepped into the political arena.
Pawan Singh, known for his acting and singing in Bhojpuri cinema, joined the conference not just to speak on politics but also to reflect on his journey in the film industry. He had announced earlier this year, in March, that he would contest in the Bihar elections. At the event, he spoke on election strategies and predictions and shared his plans for the future, both in cinema and politics.
The actor has sung many hit songs for Bollywood over the years. Some of his tracks have become chartbusters, with fans across India dancing to his tunes. Most recently, his song “Kati Raat Maine Kheto Mein Tu Aayi Nahi” from Stree 2 received a tremendous response.
When asked during the conference whether he would debut in Bollywood as an actor, Pawan Singh confirmed that a debut is indeed on the way. He said he has a big surprise for his fans, which will be announced soon. This news has created excitement among his followers who are eager to see him on the big screen in Hindi cinema.
Pawan Singh also spoke about his love for singing and credited his musical talent for bringing him recognition. Addressing the criticism about obscenity in Bhojpuri films, he defended the industry by saying, “Our Bhojpuri cinema is currently the cleanest.”
With his entry into politics and a Bollywood debut around the corner, Pawan Singh is clearly preparing for a major transformation in his career.
