It was bombshell after bombshell in last night's epic EastEnders episode. In a flashback to 2006, it was revealed Zoe had given birth to twins, although it seemed the girl had died. However, fans believe she may be alive, as it wasn't directly said in the episode.
In the flashback, Zoe was in hospital giving birth to the twins, however realised there was only one baby next to her, a boy. She then quizzed the nurse as to why, who said the doctor would be in to talk to her.
Zoe then told the nurse she wanted to put her son up for adoption, although she was told not to make any rash decisions. As the nurse stepped out to speak to the doctor, Zoe made an escape from the hospital, leaving her baby boy behind.

Back to the present day, before passing out from losing so much blood after being shot, Zoe told Kat she "couldn't even be a proper mum," as Kat asked her if her babies had died. Fans also saw Zoe's angel tattoo. Although it was assumed the daughter, who we didn't see in the flashback, had died, some fans aren't so certain...
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter last night when the bombshell episode aired, one fan penned: "I just saw a theory on TikTok and it pointed out something I missed, The nurse never actually said your daughter died I’m so sorry, She said the doctor will speak to you shortly."
A second penned: "I think there’s a possibility that Zoe’s daughter is alive and she didn’t wait to find out about her daughter’s fate and assumed the worst and got a tattoo of it because she assumed that her daughter was dead."
A third agreed: "Anyone else think Zoe’s daughter is alive? They never explicitly said she’s dead, just that the doctor would speak to her about her. Perhaps she had a condition but still survived."
Other than the fact Zoe gave birth to twins, we weren't told anymore information, and fans are left wondering who the father could be.
Going off of the timings and events in Walford, some fans believe Den Watts is the father. Zoe had fallen pregnant after sleeping with Den but she had an abortion. Taking to X one fan said: "If anything it’s Den’s baby." Another said: "Wait is Dirty den the dad."
Others believed her ex Anthony Trueman could be the fatherafter his reaction to seeing Zoe again. One fan said: "Anthony Truman is the father, didn’t they have a fling?." A fan added: "Those an Anthony’s kids."
Elsewhere, Max Branning made his shock return as it was revealed he was calling Zoe, but why?
Fans will have to continue watching to see what happens...
