Phillip Schofield's full earnings revealed amidst career collapse and family loyalty

Send Push

Philip Schofield's telly career may have hit the buffers, but fresh details about the former This Morning host's earnings have come to light. The 63-year-old presenter, who bravely came out as gay in 2020, remains wedded to his wife Stephanie despite the furore surrounding his relationship with a younger colleague which brought his career to a halt and led to his exit from This Morning in 2023.

Despite Phil's career taking a nosedive following the scandal two years ago, his financial ties and family bond with Stephanie remain solid. New figures reported by MailOnline reveal that Phil pocketed a mere £20,000 last year, a far cry from the seven-figure salary he once raked in from ITV.

Records from his company, Fistral Productions, show it coughed up just £3,947 in tax for the year ending in November 2024, suggesting a dip in income.

However, the company still boasts net assets of £2.1 million, keeping him financially buoyant despite his career downfall. Stephanie, his wife since 1993, is still listed as a director and it's her name that appears in the latest records rather than his.

Moreover, the accounts reveal the firm is owed nearly £900,000 by Fistral Properties, another business venture jointly owned by the former couple, reports the Daily Record.

Despite being publicly shamed for his actions, Phil continues to sport his wedding ring and spend time at the family home. He also remains devoted to Stephanie despite confessing he was gay when he married her.

Phil once spoke of enjoying what he considered the "perfect life" as a husband and father, saying he didn't want anything to jeopardise their happiness.

However, the TV presenter knew he had inflicted tremendous hurt on his wife, Stephanie, admitting: "That is what makes this so hard. Knowing you are hurting the perfect person, but I still love Steph as much as when we first met. More, probably."

It subsequently came to light that Stephanie chose not to pursue divorce proceedings, explaining she didn't want her husband to 'fall any further' than he already had, and that despite everything, she maintains "the love is still very much there."

Whilst Phil made a fleeting television comeback last year, he has predominantly remained away from public attention since his dramatic collapse more than two years ago.

He was spotted last September at a Soho hotel with his daughter Molly and lifelong mate Scott Brown as they dined al fresco.

Most recently, the former This Morning presenter was snapped in London, stumbling onto the pavement and clinging to an unidentified man following a day of boozing.
