CANARIA QUEEN (4.23, Nap) is fancied to reign in the Queen Mary’s Her Best Day Every Day Handicap at Ripon on Monday.
The five-year-old mare, trained by Yorkshire trainer Tim Easterby, is in a rich vein of form, winning three races this season, including her last two.
My selection won over course and distance last month, beating a field of nine by a cosy three-quarters of a length.
Always going well in the hands of Duran Fentiman, the daughter of Pastoral Pursuits led a furlong out and kept on well to hold off the strong-finishing Arlington and Ziva’s Star.
Previously to that, she gamely won a Classified Stakes over the minimum trip at Nottingham, beating Better by a head.
With the able Amie Waugh taking off 3lb off on Monday, Canaria Queen could go in again.
At Southwell, BREAKDANCER (3.35, nb) can take centre stage in the N&L Franklin Developments Handicap over a mile.

The Simon and Ed Crisford-trained three-year-old, who cost connections 450,000gns as a yearling, was an impressive winner on his handicap debut over seven furlongs at Kempton earlier this month.
Despite running green over two furlongs out, the son of Wootton Bassett made steady headway before taking the lead in by one and three-quarter lengths from Valsharah.
The extra furlong of Monday’s tip should suit him even more and he can follow up under Silvestre De Sousa.
The yard won this race last year with Zipster.
