Joel Dommett was issued a warning live on air during Wednesday’s edition of This Morning after making a health confession.
The former I’m A Celebrity winner, 40, is stepping in for Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley this week alongside Emma Willis.
During the ITV daytime programme today, in a segment on poaching eggs, Joel revealed he eats six a day.

Recalling their daily meeting yesterday in which the topic had been brought up, Emma began: “When this was mentioned in the meeting yesterday, Joel became almost possessed by egg-chat.”
“I love eggs,” Joel admitted, adding: “I eat six a day pretty much, because I just love them.
“I scramble them, poach them, I’ve not got through to putting it straight in my throat yet but I’m not far away.”
Hearing about his egg-habits, TV chef Dr Rupy urged him to “diversify” his protein intake.
Showing viewers how to poach an egg, he went on: “I know you eat six eggs a day, there are certain people that are hyper-absorbers of cholesterol, so about one in five people might need to worry about their dietary cholesterol, but the good news is the majority of us actually don’t.
“There was this idea that dietary cholesterol would push up your blood cholesterol, but for most people that isn’t the case.”
He then warned Joel: “That doesn’t mean you can eat six eggs a day, I would still say you want to diversify it.”
“They are delicious,” Joel said, clarifying he has six in one go every day.
“Honestly every day, I go to do something else and just go, ‘I love it’.”
Dr Rupy continued: “The best way to tell whether you’re eating too much, just have your cholesterol checked.”
“I do need to check that,” Joel replied.

According to the British Health Foundation, there is no recommended limit on how many eggs people should eat as long as they get a varied diet. But for those with familial hypercholesterolaemia (which affects 1 in 500 people in the UK), no more than three or four eggs a week is advised.
Elsewhere on This Morning, Joel made another “ weird ” health confession, in a segment about children’s broken bones.
The presenter recalled a childhood accident that led to a minor fracture on a joint in his hands that could have meant a ligament was pulled off his bone, with Emma asking him: “I wonder if that’s what happened to you.”
Joel replied: “To my thumbs, yeah, I landed on my bike and it pulled my thumb right back and popped that off.
“My wrists are still a bit weird… there’s lots weird about me.”
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
