Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is set for up to four weeks on the sidelines after picking up an injury during the Gunners' victory over Leeds. The injury will keep him out of a Premier League meeting with Liverpool as well as England's upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Saka scored in first-half stoppage time as Mikel Arteta's side ran out 5-0 winners on Saturday. He was forced off early in the second half, though, after picking up a hamstring issue.
The England star wasn't the only player to pick up an injury for last season's Premier League runners-up. Martin Odegaard suffered a shoulder injury in the first half, and he now faces a race against time to feature against Liverpool on August 31.
Despite the injuries, Arsenal were comfortable against Leeds as Jurrien Timber and Viktor Gyokeres each scored twice. There was also a senior debut for 15-year-old Max Dowman, who had impressed in pre-season.
The Gunners also unveiled new signing Eberechi Eze before kick-off on Saturday. The former Crystal Palace star could be handed a first start immediately due to the double injury blow, though neither Saka nor Odegaard is set to miss too much action.

Saka's absence comes at a frustrating time for England boss Thomas Tuchel, who is looking to preserve a 100 percent start in World Cup qualifying. Andorra come to Wembley on September 6, with the Three Lions facing a tricky away trip to Serbia three days later.
After a pair of home wins in Tuchel's first two games in charge, England were less convincing when they beat Andorra 1-0 in Barcelona. They lost for the first time under Tuchel in June, with Senegal coming from behind to win 3-1 at the City Ground.
Arsenal's latest injury setbacks come after Kai Havertz picked up a knee problem. Speaking after the win over Leeds, manager Arteta recognised the frustrating elements of the start to the season.
"That's the negatives of the day," Arteta said on Saturday. "Martin felt something in his shoulder when he landed. We don't know, we'll have to scan him tomorrow and understand a bit better.
"And Bukayo, while he was carrying the ball, wrestling with the defender, he felt something in his hamstring. Let's see, I think it's the other one, it's not the same one as the previous injury. We've been two weeks and we've already lost Kai, Martin and Bukayo, so it tells you how well-equipped you have to be in this league to manage and to maintain the level that we want."
