Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde donated blood at the 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar as part of the Sindoor Maha Blood Donation Yatra. The initiative was organised to express gratitude towards the Indian Army following the success of Operation Sindoor.
The Yatra was spearheaded by Shiv Sena leader from Sangli, Chandrahara Patil, with the participation of 1,000 wrestlers from the Sangli district. Determined to thank the Army for its bravery in Operation Sindur, Patil and his team had arrived in Srinagar two days earlier to donate blood.
Shinde joined the Yatra today and, upon arrival, went directly to the 92 Base Hospital to donate blood alongside Patil. Praising the Army’s extraordinary courage, Shinde conveyed the nation’s appreciation, saying, “Because you remain vigilant here, we can live in peace.”
