In a recently held meeting on the Hinjawadi IT Park issues, Bhosari MLA Mahesh Landge brought to the attention of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis the growing concerns around traffic congestion and civic challenges in the Chakan–Talegaon MIDC area.

Landge highlighted that, like Hinjawadi, the Chakan–Talegaon industrial belt—located adjacent to Pimpri Chinchwad and Pune—is facing severe traffic bottlenecks, poor road infrastructure, and civic problems. These challenges are impacting thousands of daily commuters, residents, and industries operating in the region.

Following the discussion, CM Fadnavis assured that a dedicated meeting will be held soon to address the Chakan–Bhosari traffic congestion and related infrastructure issues. The meeting is expected to focus on specific measures to improve traffic flow, upgrade roads, and provide long-term solutions for industrial and residential areas.

Speaking on the matter, Mahesh Landge said, “Resolving critical urban infrastructure challenges is my top priority. I assure all citizens, housing societies, and industries that I will continue to follow up with the government until real, on-ground change is achieved.”

The Chakan–Talegaon MIDC is one of Maharashtra’s most important industrial zones, housing key manufacturing and automotive units. Despite its importance, the region has long suffered due to traffic delays, lack of road planning, and insufficient civic facilities.
