There is a long list of vegetables made from paneer, and there is no dearth of people who like each variety. Food lovers like paneer dishes a lot in hotels and restaurants. They also enjoy paneer do pyaza, one of the popular dishes made from paneer there. Today we are going to tell you an easy recipe, with the help of which you can prepare this tasty dish at home. It completely changes the taste of lunch and dinner. The gravy made for this enhances the taste of the vegetables a lot. Tomatoes are also used for gravy. Paneer and onion are mainly used to make it.
Ingredients
Paneer cubes – 2 cups
Onion chopped – 2
Gram flour – 1 tbsp
Curd – 2 tbsp
Tomato puree – 1 cup
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Kasuri methi – 1 tsp
Bay leaf – 1
Cinnamon – 1 piece
Green cardamom – 2
Green chilli – 2
Oil – 3 tbsp
Salt – as per taste
Method – First of all, put curd in a bowl and whisk it. After this, add turmeric, garam masala, coriander powder, and red chilli powder to the curd and mix.
- After mixing them, add gram flour, kasuri methi, and salt to the curd and whisk. Now, cut the paneer into cubes and add it to the curd solution, mix, and marinate for 10 minutes.
- Now, take a non-stick pan and heat it by adding 1 tablespoon of oil. After the oil is heated, add the marinated paneer to it and fry for 2-3 minutes.
- After the paneer is fried, take it out of the pan and put it in a bowl. Now, add some oil again to the pan and heat it on a medium flame.
- When the oil is hot, add cumin seeds, cinnamon, bay leaves, and green cardamom and fry. After a few seconds, add green chillies and onions and cook for about 5 minutes.
- When the color of the onion turns light pink, add ginger-garlic paste to it and fry. Then mix all the dry spices.
- Now add tomato puree and let the gravy cook for another 2-3 minutes. Add salt to the gravy as per taste and cook until the gravy leaves oil.
- When the gravy leaves oil and becomes thick, add fried paneer cubes to it and mix them well with the gravy with the help of a ladle.
- Your tasty paneer do pyaza ki sabji is ready. Serve it with roti or paratha.
