In her latest vlog, actress and television personality Archana Puran Singh took her viewers on a delightful culinary exploration through the streets of Udaipur. Joined by her husband, actor Parmeet Sethi, and their son Aaryamann Sethi, the trio set out in search of the city’s most flavorful kachoris. This time, the family from AAP Ka Parivaar decided to try a special variety of kachori infused with hing (asafoetida), a spice known for its rich aroma and digestive benefits.
As they relished the crispy treat, the family was taken aback by an unexpected revelation about the ingredient’s price. The shopkeeper informed them that the asafoetida used in their kachoris costs nearly ₹25,000 per kilogram, while the premium grade can go as high as ₹35,000 per kilogram. Amused by the staggering price, Archana playfully remarked that instead of buying gold this Dhanteras, they might as well invest in asafoetida.
During their car ride, Parmeet added his signature dose of humor to the vlog. He narrated a funny story about a Rajasthani husband who misheard his wife’s words “Khamba Honey” as the local greeting “Khamma Ghani.” The hilarious mix-up sent Archana into fits of laughter, while Aaryamann quipped, “I have got a new dad because of you,” to the audience and noted that he is now more jovial than ever before. Parmeet responded that he used to have trauma, to which Archana remarked that she had helped him overcome all of his trauma.
The family’s food adventure continued at the famous Paliwal Restaurant, where they were served freshly prepared kachoris with aromatic methi chutney. Archana was amazed to learn that the eatery does such brisk business that it often shuts by 2 p.m. She also couldn’t stop raving about the kachori chaat and its rich, flavorful filling.
Their vlog then took a spiritual turn as the family visited the historic Jagdish Temple before heading to a popular breakfast joint, where they enjoyed two Rajasthani delicacies—Kadhi Kachori and Open Samosa.
Towards the video’s end, the family revealed that they would soon release a special vlog celebrating one million subscribers, once their other son, Ayushmaan—currently in Paris—returns home. The AAP Ka Parivaar channel, which began just a year ago, has quickly become a fan favorite. They also run another channel, Aary Vlogs, managed by Aaryamann and his fiancée, Yogita.
