Chelsea will be targeting their first win of the Premier League season when they travel to West Ham on Friday evening. The Blues could only manage a draw on the opening weekend of the new campaign following a stalemate with Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
It will be extremely interesting to see how Chelsea get on this season because of their participation in the Club World Cup over the summer but many are tipping them to potentially push for the title. The west London club did finish in the top four in 2024/25 and now it is about kicking on even further and getting back to challenging for the Premier League trophy year after year.
They certainly cannot afford to drop points as was the case against Palace if they are to run Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal close for the main prize. So who exactly do the quartet have to play in their next five Premier League games? football.london takes a look below:

Chelsea will be remaining in London for their next three Premier League games as they take on West Ham, Fulham and Brentford. Their first Premier League game outside of the capital in the 2025/26 season comes on Saturday, September 20 as they travel to Manchester United in what should be a very tough game.
The home match against Brighton will be tricky for the Blues but they will be expected to get maximum points from it given the quality they have in their squad.

Manchester City made a real statement on the opening day with a 4-0 victory over Wolves. Pep Guardiola's side do have some awkward games coming up but they may be quite hard to stop if they continue to score goals for fun.

Liverpool opened the new season with three points against Bournemouth and they now have two huge tests coming up. A Monday night game at Newcastle United could be a fiery affair given the current Alexander Isak situation and then all eyes will be on Anfield at the end of the month when Arsenal travel to Merseyside.
The first Merseyside derby of the season takes place in September, either side of away games at Burnley and Crystal Palace.

Arsenal were dealt a bad hand by the fixtures computer but they did manage to win on the opening day at Manchester United despite finding themselves under plenty of pressure. The Gunners will be expected to win at home to Leeds United on Saturday ahead of a daunting trip to Anfield the following weekend.
The games don't get any easier in September as Nottingham Forest, Manchester City and Newcastle United follow. Arsenal could either be playing catch-up come the end of September or they may have sent a real warning to their title rivals if they come out of this nightmare run with a healthy points haul.
