Chelseahave confirmed that David Datro Fofana has left the club to complete a move to Turkey. The Bluesconfirmed on Saturday that the striker has joined Fatih Karagumruk S.K. on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The Super Lig outfit also confirmed in their own statement that Fofana's loan move also includes the option to be made permanent at the end of the campaign.
The transfer window in Turkiye closed on Friday, with the deal for Fofana not being confirmed until a day later. The Ivorian first joined Chelsea in January 2023 but has only made four appearances for the first team since his move to Stamford Bridge.

After having spells on loan at Union Berlin and Burnley during the 2023/24 season, Fofana first moved to Turkiye last term to join Goztepe on a temporary deal for the campaign, before being recalled back in February.
He has now returned to Turkey to sign for Fatih Karagumruk S.K, and could go on to sign for the club on a permanent basis next summer.
The 22-year-old had been linked with a move away from Chelsea for several months before eventually completing his switch to Turkiye, and will now be looking to return to goalscoring form during his time with Fatih Karagumruk S.K.
During his time with Goztepe last season, Fofana scored two goals across nine appearances and will be hoping for a better return during this campaign.
Fofana became the latest player to leave Chelsea this summer, joining Omari Kellyman (loan), Alex Matos, Noni Madueke, Christopher Nkunku, Joao Felix, Djordje Petrovic, Lesley Ugochukwu, Armando Broja, Bashir Humphreys, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Renato Veiga, Carney Chukwuemeka, Mathis Amougou, Alfie Gilchrist, Kendry Paez (loan), Mike Penders (loan), Marcus Bettinelli, Kepa Arrizabalaga , Aaron Anselmino (loan), Mamadou Sarr (loan), Caleb Wiley (loan) and Deivid Washington (loan) in departing Stamford Bridge.
